Would you like to join our friendly team of Schools Coordinators here in the East Midlands region?

Covering the areas of Leicester City and North Leicestershire, you'll need to live in or very near (within 15 minutes drive) to one of those areas because you'll be based from home with local travel to inspire schools, volunteers and other partners to engage with our programmes. You'll need access to and daily use of your own car and home broadband is essential for this role. Flexible working hours are available for all staff, right from the beginning of your time here.

What we do?

In 2021, the NSPCC announced a new 10+ year strategy to make the biggest impact we can to stop the abuse and neglect of children. The team you would be joining plays an essential part in how we will deliver the strategy's three main aims: everyone playing their part to prevent abuse, every child being safe online and all children feeling safe, listened to and supported. The Midlands Schools Service team works across every type of education setting to promote all our resources and programmes that have these aims at their heart

What would you be doing?

**You'll be someone who**: has experience of delivering programmes in an educational or safeguarding setting and is used to following safeguarding procedures; has well developed stakeholder relationship skills; enjoys working with diverse groups of people; has experience in volunteer recruitment, management and supervision; can show us evidence of meeting set targets and key performance indicators and someone who would work well as part of a remote team, mainly working from home.

**Reporting to the Schools Manager, the Coordinator role will**:
be the single point of contact for all education settings within the designated area.
co-ordinate the delivery of the Speak out. Stay safe online programme
be responsible for overseeing the delivery of volunteer led workshops
direct and manage a diverse group of existing volunteers
work to set targets and KPIs
be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external relationships
recruit, train and retain new or existing volunteers providing ongoing development
maximise opportunities to build external partnerships
present to stakeholders, such as local authorities and senior school leaders
represent the NSPCC in a public-facing role
contribute to internal projects and workstreams
