Café Supervisor

Cafe Ambio is a family run business located in the North West of England. We have Cafes in The Lake District and Cumbria. We a passionate about good food, coffee and service - placing a strong emphases on using local and seasonal products sourced from local suppliers,

We are currently on the look out for a Cafe Supervisor. This role is the first step into our management structure. You will work closely with the Cafe Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure that smooth day to day running of the cafe.

The role of cafe supervisor will entail:

- Being a Key Holder
- Cash Handling
- Serving Customers
- Making Coffee
- Till Work
- Clearing Tables
- General Cleaning
- Covering Management days off an annual leave
- Serving Ice Cream

As Cafe Supervisor, you will be trained in the management side of the business. You will be given a set of Keys, be trusted with the alarm codes and safe code. You will be trained to cash up, understand the staff demands thus be able to plan rotas in the long term.

What we expect from you:
To be punctual, smart and presentable, be willing to learn and adapt. Have a passion for hospitality and a drive to work your way up the company. Have the ability to work as a team member but also delegate and lead when required.
Hospitality experience is essentials. Barista and Till Experience is preferred but training is provided.

The position is full time, working any 5 from seven days.
Must be able to work weekends, school and public holidays. Closed Christmas Day.

40 Hours per week.
Salary - Up to £22,500. Paid by BACS monthly.
28 Days Holiday per year.

7 Miles from Cockermouth. 5 Miles from Keswick.
Lift Sharing available from Cockermouth.
