**ROLE PURPOSE**

We are a busy Electrical, Heating and Plumbing business looking for a part time admin/accounts assistant.

This is a Part-Time role working 3 days a week, ideally Wednesday to Friday, 7 hours per day.

**KEY TASKS**
- Processing sales and supplier invoices on Xero
- Dealing with telephone queries
- Typing quotes and tenders
- Filing
- Other general admin requirements when needed

**THE CANDIDATE**
- Good organisational skills
- Proven experience in a similar role is essential
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work on your own as well as with others
- Enthusiastic / Self motivated
- Excellent IT skills - Word/Excel/Outlook

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 21 per week

**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newcastle upon Tyne, NE20 9SD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 2 years (required)
