Bar Person

**Bar Person, various shifts including evenings and weekends, on average 14 hours per week**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced bar person to join our traditional, local, drink led pub. As a bar person, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our customers, while delivering exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of running the bar, including tasks such as opening and locking up and changing barrels
- Work efficiently and effectively during busy shifts, as well as during quieter times
- Comfortably interact with a diverse range of people, building strong relationships with both regulars and visitors and providing excellent customer service
- Create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere
- Collaborate closely with the Landlord on a regular basis to ensure smooth operations, and support with day to day tasks
- Maintain the premises by keeping the pub and bar area clean, safe and well stocked
- Think outside of the box to build on our current offerings

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a pub or bar setting is essential
- Ability to work varied days and hours, including weekends and evenings
- Reliable and able to commit to an average of 14 hours per week, with shifts scheduled in advance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and able to take initiative in problem-solving situations
- Trustworthy and take pride in doing a good job
- Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be 18 or over
