Trainee Estimator

**Trainee Estimator**

The Trainee Estimator, reporting to the Senior Estimator, shall have the responsibility for the preparing and submitting of quotations for interior products used in a range of construction projects throughout the UK

**Responsibilities**:

- Analysing plans, bill of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs and prepare quotations
- Obtaining the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Identifying and evaluating all technical issues that are related to a particular project.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project requirements are met

**Requirements**:

- Clear understanding of wanting to have a career within the construction industry.
- Be able to demonstrate advanced IT skills.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Previous estimating experience, while advantageous, is not required as training will be provided
- A methodical approach to work
