**About Us**: Headway Basingstoke is a pioneering charity dedicated to supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries and their caregivers in North Hampshire. Since 1982, we have been at the forefront of providing community-based rehabilitation and support services, committed to enhancing the lives of brain injury survivors and their families.

We are currently seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our organisation, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

**Offer**:

- Permanent Role, Part-time
- 26 Hours per week (Mondays to Thursdays, 9am to 4pm; 30min lunch)
- **£15,600 **(FTE: £22,500)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Answering telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Making appointments on behalf of other team members and managing schedules.
- Reporting and logging issues with Estates and facilities management.
- Handling filing, printing, copying, and scanning documents.
- Updating databases and maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting with social events for our clients and providing support as needed.
- Managing financial transactions.
- Performing various administrative duties to support the team.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a receptionist role or similar administrative position is essential.
- Experience in a medical setting, such as a medical receptionist role, would be highly beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic computer literacy. Previous experience with Cliniko would be beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients and colleagues.
- Must demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with discretion, sensitivity, and maintain strict confidentiality protocols.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £22,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 26 per week
