**Hours**: 25hrs

Glu Recruit are recruiting for an award-winning commercial cleaning company who provide full cleaning and hygiene services to clients based all across Sheffield, Chesterfield, Rotherham and Worksop.

As the Rotherham Supervisor you will be responsible for managing clients and staff within the Barnsley and Rotherham region. You need to be an excellent communicator and able to build strong working relationships with all of our stakeholders. As part of our commitment to our clients, all applicants must be able to pass a DBS check.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Regularly meeting and talking to clients to ensure that we are meeting their needs
- Building relationships with current contacts and other staff members on every site
- Being visible and responsive in times of need
- Speaking appropriately to clients and site visitors at all times.
- Communicating clearly and accurately at all times

**Site Management**:

- Monthly Cleaning Audits on all client sites to be completed whilst delivering stock
- Any areas of non-conformance to be communicated to the cleaners and followed up a minimum of one week later. And site placed under weekly / fortnightly monitoring until standards are improved
- Any persistent cleaning issues to be communicated and raised with Operations Manager for further support
- Delivery of stock at all client sites (one visit per month) - assisted by stock manager
- Conducting cleaning cupboard audits and informing Ops Manager of any safety concerns

**Staff Management**:

- Collecting Holiday request forms and booking Holidays on CRM
- Ensuring cover has been arranged for holidays booked - 1 month in advance.
- Monitoring hours worked by cleaners on each site - completing weekly timesheets and sending them to head office.
- Monitoring sickness absences and reporting on the CRM
- Conducting return to work interviews after every absence
- Reporting to Operations Manager after 3 consecutive periods of sickness.
- Cover cleaners when absent - sometimes at short notice
- One to Ones with all Cleaners every six months
- Monitoring the Training and Development needs with Cleaners
- Conducting interviews with cleaners and team leaders
- Disciplinaries with Cleaners and Team Leaders (verbal ONLY)
- Regularly communicating with Operations Manager
