**Job Details**

If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of cleaners in Schools within the Kirkcaldy area **. **We currently have several permanent mobile vacancies Monday to Friday on a 40- or 52-week contract.

As a Mobile Cleaner you may be asked on a daily basis to move from one establishment to another to provide cover. When not providing cover, you will remain in the establishment specified in your base. Some degree of flexibility in working arrangements may be required.

**Mobile Cleaners**
- **20 hours per week - 1 post (3:30pm to 7:30pm) 40-week contract.**:

- **25 hours per week - 1 post (3:00pm to 8:00pm) 52-week contract**:

- **17.5 hours per week - 1 post (3:30pm to 7:00pm) 52-week contract.**

You will earn a competitive salary of **£22,525.71 pro-rata **and have access to a range of benefits, including:

- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.00 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is annualised for 40-week contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period)
- Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland)

This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate

**The Person**

**Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.**

Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work - a current Driving Licence is desirable.
