My Client who are a casting manufacturing company are looking to take on a Die caster for their casting site in Romsey.
The role:
safe usage of the site Die Casting furnaces.
To maintain the quality of the metal used in manufacture and facilitate the pouring of the material to produce high quality die castings using suitable die cast tooling.
Operate the foundry die casting furnaces to heat aluminium ingots.
Measure and maintain temperature of the furnaces.
Treat molten aluminium through addition of additives and flux.
Inspect die tooling for suitability for manufacture, cleaning and preparing as required.
Heat required die tooling to required temperatures prior to manufacture.
Transfer molten metal into pre-prepared die tooling through use of handheld ladles.
Shift: Days
**Salary**: £14ph - £18ph
Location: Romsey
