£35,000 per annum

An industry-leading waste management company are hiring acertifiedSHEQ Coordinator. **Responsibilities**:

- Createand monitordocumentation,manuals,and standards
- Ensure operational proceduresare in placethat adhere to legislation and codes of practice
- Conduct Internal ISO monthly audits and non-conformances and track actions
- Run training sessions for compliance,toolbox talks, and inductions
- Provide Health & Safety advice to management, employees, and external agencies
- Produce a monthly activity report for the Operations Manager
- Undertake risk assessmentsand investigateincidents, accidents and near misses
- Auditing and reporting onhealth and safety performance and best practice across all sites
- Create management reports, analyse trends (injuries, near misses and accidents), make recommendations, and adopt change

The Person
- Minimum 3 years' practical experience in a similar role, ideally in the waste industry
- NEBOSH certificate (Safety & Environmental) or equivalent
- Health & Safety experience (ideally 3 years)
- Experienced in accident/ incident investigation and report writing.
- Experienced in writing and delivering health & safety-related training
- Confident IT skills (Word, PDF, PowerPoint & Excel etc.)
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001 - managing the manuals and conducting monthly internal audits and hosting annual external audit
- Analytical, proactive, andorganised.
