**Commercial Manager**

Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) is responsible for the design, manufacture and support of UK's nuclear weapons on behalf of the MoD and maintaining the UK's nuclear deterrent. Working as a **Commercial Manager** you will provide support to the business in the delivery of its key customer's contracts. Responsible for all internal and external contract aspects, you'll manage the contracts throughout the whole lifecycle using establishedprocesses. You will ensure that bids comply with regulatory, governance and legislative matters, and identify and escalate threats to the Management and Operations (M&O) and Non-M&O Contracts.
- Experience working in or with defence or public sector commercial functions;
- Good knowledge of contractual terms and working with different types of agreements;
- Experience in the negotiating and managing contracts of varying scales and complexities;
- Experience in bid development, understanding commercial risks and different pricing strategies;
- Ability to use own initiative and has strong influencing skills;
- Effective at relationship management at all levels with key internal and external customers and stakeholders.
