**The Role**

We are looking to recruit a Technical Inspector to join our growing company. In this fast-paced role, you will work closely with the technical and operational teams, subcontractors and customers to assist with the installer training and carding and quality inspections

You will be visiting sites primarily in North-West England and the midlands, but will be required to travel into other areas to suit business needs. You will perform inspections, attend training meetings and carding of installers and survyors, and generally represent the company on-site.

We seek a highly motivated individual and team player, with strong people skills. Able to multi-task and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, they will be a capable and confident all-rounder. The ability to provide clear and timely communication is essential.

Due to the diverse locations of our projects, a company van and fuel card will be provided, as well as accommodation costs and meal allowances (as and when required).

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Post install checks for cavity wall on new build and retro
- Live install checks for cavity wall on new build and retro
- Training and carding of installers
- Training and carding of surveyors
- Updating inspection records use of i-auditor software
- Carrying out inspections on behalf of guarantee agencies.
- Liaising with the technical team and operational team to deliver a strategy for improving standard of work within the network
- To work with the relevant departments, providing constructive advice and feedback to contractors, management and subcontractors
- Attendance on site to ensure quality standards are being maintained
- To oversee and contribute to any on-site Health and Safety or wellbeing issues
- Investigating project issues on site
- DeliveringToolbox Talks
- Attend site inductions

**Required skills and experience**

**Essential Qualifications Required**
- 2 years practical cavity wall insulation experience
- Insulation experience
- Pre & post inspection capability
- CSCS
- Cavity wall Installers card
- Acops
- Full clean UK driving licence

**Essential Skills**:

- Knowledge or understanding of current health and safety legislation
- Strong IT and numeracy skills
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a good rapport with clients and subcontractors

**Desirable Skills**:

- First aid trained
- IOSH &or NEBOSH qualified (it is acceptable if you are working towards this)
- 2 years at a supervisory/ inspectors level in a construction-related industry
