Our client, a Preston-based global financial services PLC with an exceptional reputation is undergoing a period of planned expansion, and as such is recruiting this new and exciting Risk Analyst role.
Working within a small and very experienced senior team, and reporting to the Risk Manager, you will be afforded a unrivalled level of guidance and career development. Duties will include:

- Assisting with the development of the existing risk framework - assisting with quarterly reviews of risks and working closely with first line to inform your reviews
- Assisting with maintenance of executive level incident management log and reporting on executive level incidents
- Preparing the production of reports for the risk & audit committee on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Taking ownership of 2nd line oversight & governance for the business that is outsourced 3rd parties
- Supporting group functions, as well as the UK entity, and having input into all risk areas including operations, enterprise, and financial
- Partnering with Risk Owners and liaising with senior level and executive level stakeholders
- A background in financial services
- An appreciation and understanding of regulatory requirements (FCA for example)
- Existing risk experience or financial services background and the desire to develop a career in risk
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

This is a hybrid role, envisaged 50% of the time from home and 50% of the time in the office in Preston.
