Overview:
This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced floral designers and gain valuable knowledge and experience in the retail floristry industry as well as wedding, event, funeral, and corporate work. As a Florist Apprentice, you will have the chance to learn from seasoned professionals and develop your skills in a supportive and welcoming environment. This part-time role requires a commitment of 24 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and funerals
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers and arrangements for their needs
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and related supplies
- Arrange flowers in vases, bouquets, wreaths, and other decorative displays
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Process payments and handle cash transactions

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Florist or in a similar role is great, but not essential
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and floral design techniques
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated.

**Salary**: £10.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 35 per week
