**JOB TITLE**: ICT Security Analyst

**LOCATION**: Devizes

**PACKAGE**: £39,000 - £41,000

**WAY OF WORKING**: Remote working, ideally 1 day in office but flexible on this.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:

- Provide the initial response and management of IT Security incidents and escalating to the ICT Security Officer
- Responsible for the proactive monitoring of technical security controls and identify new and emerging cyber threats
- Implement the ICT Security Strategy and maintain compliance
- Provide expert advice/guidance on IT security departmental members and within the business areas to ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of ICT Security controls and processes.
- Maintain contact with security authorities to ensure that security warnings/advisories are appropriately monitored
- Identify new and emerging technologies and evaluate how these can be used securely to improve communication.
- Identify technical information risks and propose mitigation to management.
- Report security incidents or breaches of security policy
- Support investigations into IT security incidents and Data Breaches
- Work with the forces’ auditors and accreditors on the audits of IT security controls to ensure the quality and accuracy of the audit

**YOUR KEY SKILLS**:

- Experience In a Cyber Security/Information Security role
- Appropriate professional qualification in relevant discipline, e.g., MSc Information Security, CISSP, CESG Certified Professional etc. Or evidenced demonstrable experience.
- Trained in MS 0365/Azure Security & Compliance
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise and manage workload whilst remaining positive and motivated.
- Technical understanding of IT systems and appropriate technical qualifications such as Security+, CEH, CCNA, MCSE etc
- Must be familiar with Cloud and Mobile technologies.
- Experience with Managing staff in support of researching, reviewing, analysing, and reporting on IT security issues to produce reports on performance, trends, and opportunities to increase IT security.
