An exciting position has become available for a part-time Nursery Cook based in Marsden, Huddersfield (HD7 6AE)

Role Requirements
- Ideally, you will be qualified in Food Preparation/Hygiene or in childcare with the commitment to train in Food Hygiene.
- You must be committed to protect children from harm through following safeguarding procedures and ongoing professional development.

Role Responsibilities
- Producing nutritionally balanced meals and snacks.
- Ensure ingredients in foods meet individual allergy and dietary requirements of all children.
- Contribute to and participate in team meetings/team activity.
- Cleaning kitchen to meet HSE requirements.
- Developing menus as part of a small team in line with school food standards.
- Maintaining accurate and effective records in line with Safe Food Better Business.
- Have a working knowledge of HACCP and COSHH regulations and guidelines (training will be given).
- Stock control and ordering.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Huddersfield, HD7 6AE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
