As the**Financial Planning & Analysis Manager**you will be reporting to the Finance Director, leading the budget for the European Midway Division including the New Openings and coordinate on profit and loss and capex reporting. You will alsoanalyse and provide a commercial insight of the financial performance of this division and be accountable for the central management of the accounts. This is a maternity cover which will commence in April 2023 till May 2024.
- Manages Midway Europe & New Openings budgets, forecasts, business plans and capex plans through planning & delivery
- Prepares Midway Europe & New Openings review documents, presentations management accounts
- Tracks divisional level results and monitors for potential errors or inconsistencies and works with Regional Finance Business Partners to collate key commentary on variances
- Provides analysis on Midway Europe trends, investigates & interrogates to give insight to the drivers of performance using KPIs, charts, commentary
- Uses financial modelling to suggest and test potential strategies for Midway Europe (whole division or project specific)
- Responsibility for the central function accounts for Midway Europe & New Openings including cost analysis, franchise revenue tracking and overseeing purchasing, intercompany processes & balance sheet overview
- Manages EE capital spend & forecast tracking at a divisional level including budget variance review and management of central contingency budgets

To be successful in this role of **Financial Planning & Analysis Manager**we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

- Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Have good knowledge of current and proposed IFRS / accounting standards
- Be able to demonstrate excellent analysis, modelling skills and have the ability to utilise statistical tools where required
- Must have strong IT skills especially as it relates to finance and reporting, including advanced excel knowledge
- PowerBI experience preferable
- Be commercially aware with an ability to understand and solve complex problems
