Domestic Gas Supervisor

Purdy Contracts Ltd, part of Kinovo Plc, has an opportunity for a Domestic Gas Supervisor to join our Gas division. This role is primarily office based, at our Head Office, E4.

The main purpose of the role will be to provide commercial insight into the performance of our Contracts, with particular emphasis on our Gas division, and assist with ensuring that profits are maximised and efficiencies are targeted across the business. This role will suit a Gas Engineer who would like to take the next step in their career away from the tools. Duties will include:

- Validate and approve subcontractor quotations to ensure value for money is achieved
- Agree subcontractor valuations and payments
- Analyse and review commercial and operational data to help the business make informed & strategic decisions to achieve optimal profitability.
- Ensure cost information is collated monthly, and the necessary risk and opportunity are accounted for.
- To bill compliance works
- Manage day to day cost control & monitoring & reporting
- Any other reasonable management instruction relevant to your role and wider team

You will have:

- Knowledge of costings, coding and valuing works is an advantage but full training will be provided
- In depth knowledge of repairs and maintenance
- Strong commercial awareness with IT, numerical and Excel skills
- Domestic Gas work experience with a plumbing/heating qualification is essential
