Assistant Herdsperson

We are a family run mixed dairy, beef and arable farm in a lovely village in the heart of Staffordshire. We currently milk in a 12/24 Herringbone parlour milking 170 cows twice daily. We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced individual to join the team.

Job roles include milking with a team of relief milkers, rearing young stock, tractor driving and general farm work. We are looking for a hard working individual who can work on a full time basis between 40-45 hours per week including milkings alternate weekends.

Opportunities available for additional hours during busy periods. Development within the role would be encouraged and supported.

Holiday pay and pension are included.

Tractor and car driving license essential. Tele-handler licence would be an advantage.

Good rates for pay depending on experience.
