We are recruiting for a Hotel Receptionist to join our team here at The Norfolk Arms Hotel and provide a first class customer experience to our guests and to ensure the smooth running of the Hotel Reception.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- To welcome and check in guests in a friendly manner, meeting company policies and procedures
- Issue keys, explain hotel facilities in a positive and engaging manner
- Answer calls and deal with enquiries efficiently, take messages and communicate effectively
- To be aware of the hotel availability, and to maximise room sales
- Deal with cash, cheque and credit transactions
- To ensure that all charges are correctly posted to the guest bills
- Complete guest check outs efficiently, and to deal with any issues in a positive and proactive manner

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- Smart presentation, polite and friendly manner
- Excellent Customer Services skills
- Able to work well within a team and able to cope under pressure
- Able to work early, late, weekends and Bank Holiday shifts
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous experience of working in a Hotel is preferred

Pay: £23,795.20-£24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
