**About this role**

The Technical Delivery Lead role is pivotal in the Mobile Deployment team. The position reports to the Head of Deployment and spearhead a team of deployment managers delivering essential BT programmes to achieve critical contractual deadlines and deliver the best Network.

Supporting Deployment Managers, the Delivery Lead is responsible for supporting the acquisition, build, activation, remedial and retrofit work. The position meets the site's programme technical requirements from nomination through to build and any remedial and retrofit work that might be required. In addition, the role holder will support scoping/costing of new demand, setting realistic targets to manage delivery expectations.

**You'll have the following responsibilities**
- Manage & spearhead a team of build managers
- Leverage technical expertise to supply Technical Delivery Support for the programme where required.
- Monitor all actions and activities, from scope to delivery, to ensure adherence to the technical roadmap and time and budget constraints.
- Ensure projects are tracking to time, cost, and quality.
- When deemed appropriate by the Build manager, the TDM will also be responsible for delivering sites within programmes on time and within budget.

- Planning & Organising - support the team to deliver precise and regularly updated delivery plans and ensure RAID logs are in place that enables effective internal and external management and alignment to the delivery plans.
- Analyse designs and delivery plans to support a best in class delivery approaches.

**You'll have the following skills & experience**
- Willingness to undergo BPSS Level Government Screening which ideally requires residence in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
- Excellent RAN technical build knowledge and experience successfully building sites on time and to budget.
- New build mobile network site build experience.
- Evidence of successfully delivering multiple projects/programmes to strict deadlines and demonstrated ability to work with and report to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of mobile networks and the component parts necessary to deliver a robust network infrastructure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive internal and external stakeholders and SWCs so deadlines are met.
