Manual Machinist Job Description

**Duties**:

- Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, boring machines
- Use hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers.
- Perform maintenance on machines and equipment
- Work with tooling to ensure proper fit and function
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and minimize waste

Experience: -experience with heavier jobs/larger machines requiered. -CNC experience a bonus.

Language: -Basic English is a bonus but we are more than willing to work on a language barrier with the right person.

**Salary**: £15.00 per hour
