Human Resources lead the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

We are currently seeking experienced individuals to join this team in the role of **Employee Relations Transformation Lead (Policy/ OH projects) **on a 2-year fixed term contract basis.***

The role will initially consist of UK Employment Policy, Occupational Health (OH) & other Employee Relations Transformation projects as required. This role will work alongside another ER Transformation Lead who will focus on the ER Investigations service. This role has one direct report (ER Manager - Policy & Development).

**Your responsibilities will include**:

**Policy**:

- Thought leadership and strategic direction to the HR Function on ER policy matters, using industry insight, internal relationships with businesses/ functions / risk stewards and horizon scanning
- Reporting on case themes and insights to senior level committees including HRLT and RCMM utilising these themes to drive actions / mitigation
- Effective oversight of ER policy framework and provision

**Occupational Health**:

- Building a strategy & partnership with our OH provider
- Defining our OH strategy for the next 3 years
- Define KPIs and an operational reporting structure

**Other projects**:

- Leading the implementation of other Employee Relations Transformation projects as required by the Global Transformation Team, including Capability building in ER and HR Advisory
Requirements

**To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements**:

- Prior experience of working in an HR role is essential,
- Knowledge and background in policy work is essential
- Project management skills are desirable
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills with the ability to capture and interpret data are essential
- Strong Senior Stakeholder relationship skills are essential
- A growth mindset and a collaborative style with the ability to communicate with impact are essential
- Previous people management would also be advantageous.

This role can be based in Leeds, Birmingham, Chester or London with hybrid working in place.
