We are looking for a CIMA/ACCA qualified Finance Manager with experience working within a Manufacturing environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful part of the country, for a global manufacturer of precision engineered metal parts
**Working days: Mon - Thurs**
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide line management and leadership of the Finance team
- Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback
- Maintain, control and optimise the ERP system for all financial and business processes.
- Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
- Prepare timely monthly management accounts in accordance with accounting policies and submit results through the monthly reporting package.
- Manage company cash flow through monitoring transactions and by creating analysis to provide projections to improve cash management in the company.
- Prepare annual budget, reporting variances and support managers with corrective plans
- Control of international VAT- import, duty, fiscal representation, Intrastat returns and EU sales listing
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported. This includes sales, purchases and all ledgers.
- Manage Credit Control ensuring there are customer credit checks, setting credit limits, monitoring of aged debts and collection of outstanding amounts.
- Manage Finance team routine activities including payroll generation, staff expenses, P11Ds, PAYE settlement agreements and reconciliations. Ensuring adhere to HMRC regulations.
- Providing technical support and advice to all on site companies for VAT, and PAYE.
- Develop and improve financial systems and management information
- Prepare annual statutory accounts in conjunction with the auditors and Head of Finance
- Manage annual audit
- Introduce and maintain control of CAPEX financial process including the Fixed Asset Register
- Review monthly customer sales report and monitor customer profitability.
- Develop and maintain a suite of monthly management reports to assist the SMT and Head of Finance to manage and understand the business.
- Maintain internal controls across the business and maintain a culture of process improvement.
- Review all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
- Maintain the Accounting Policy and J-SOX documentation and ensure policies adhered to within the businesses.
- Maintain professional knowledge through continuing professional development activities
- Assist the Head of Finance to coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment.

- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

**Qualifications/Education standards and level of skills**
CIMA/ACCA qualified
**Knowledge and Skills**
**_Essential_**
A qualified Accountant with significant experience in fulfilling the complete range of financial management processes
- An understanding of the complexities of finance management within an international Group is preferred, ideally with some experience within the manufacturing sector and foreign currency transactions.
- A strong IT skill set is essential including previous experience of Information Systems Management, in which you will have gained knowledge of ERP system implementation and optimisation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking, sound problem solving skills, analytical skills and use of initiative
- Experience in effectively managing a small team

**Associated Benefits**:
26 days holiday per annum (allocated to fixed and flexible dates) plus 8 statutory bank holidays.
**Working Hours: **07.00 to 16.30 Monday to Wednesday, 07.00 to 16.00 Thursday
