Overview:
A position has arisen to join our small, fun and friendly team running one of our Heidelberg presses (Heidelberg Speedmaster 72 with coating unit)

Must have experience of running a press in a commercial environment, a hands-on approach, team player, and a positive mindset are essential

**Responsibilities**:

- Run and operate a Heidelberg press
- Prepare all pre-press material, including plates and paper
- Mix and load inks and solvents, load paper and regulate during print run
- Print and examine proof copies and adjusts press as necessary
- Start printing run and monitor the press to ensure that printing proceeds smoothly
- Perform general housekeeping duties and ensure your machine is maintained to a high standard
Troubleshooting issues with the printing press or print quality
- Record and maintain production records
- Ensure our product and service is of the highest quality by working with our studio and print finishers to ensure a smooth, high quality and an efficient production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience of working on a lithographic printing press essential.
- Willingness to be flexible and enthusiastic with approach to work.
- Understand and carry out instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control

**Salary**: £23,500.00 per year
