**We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Deputy Manager to ensure that the Registration Team are delivering on all key performance Indicators (KPIs) and wider objectives, whilst delivering an excellent service to customers and colleagues.**

**Salary**: £30,993- £35,978 per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus benefits

**Location**: Canary Wharf, London (hybrid working approach)

**Hours**: 35 hours per week, from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday

**The role**

The Registration team plays a vital role here at the GPhC, working to make sure that the accuracy and integrity of our Register is maintained. Only those pharmacy professionals and premises that meet our standards and criteria for registration are enteredor renewed in line with policies and timeframes.

Staff in this role are usually expected to work in the office between two and three days per week with the rest of the week being home-based. However, during induction and peak periods of work, more office attendance may be required.

**The successful applicant will**:

- Experience of or the ability to directly line manage a number of Applications Administrators/Registration Officers to support the performance of the team and each individual.
- The ability to ensure that appropriate objectives and targets are set, and clear direction is provided to the team through regular one on one meetings, sharing updates and priorities whilst also giving praise and providing motivation.
- Excellent attention to detail with experience of working in a customer services environment dealing with and quality-assuring high volumes of processing and data entry.
- A target driven mindset with the drive and desire to make sure that all individual and department targets are achieved.
- The capability to be highly organised, with experience of managing changing and evolving workloads and can juggle multiple tasks and projects, and can prioritise work in line with customer needs while remaining calm under pressure.
- A proactive, "can do" approach to helping customers, and the tenacity to make sure that answers are provided to customers.
- The ability to identify and implement short to medium-term improvements, providing quality, time-saving and/or cost benefits.
- Excellent communication skills and experience of effectively handling all types of callers, including difficult and or irate or upset customers.
- Experience of providing written replies to customers using professional, clear and concise language.
