**Overview**:
As part of our continuing support to our client based in Belfast, we are looking for a Planner/Estimator to join our team. The role will be working on a hybrid pattern based at our client’s facility in Belfast. This is a permanent position with us, the salary is negotiable based on experience, seniority, etc. In addition to the salary, we offer 25 days annual leave, pension, flexitime plus a host of other staff benefits.

**Responsibilities**:
Compiling labour estimates from work specifications, drawings and site visits in support of bids and for additional & emergent work during the project delivery phase.

Engaging with internal / external stakeholders and clients to ensure that the estimates that you produce meet the project need.

Ensuring that all estimates that are produced are compliant with the relevant regulations.

Monitor progress throughout the lifecycle to ensure that project cost and schedule are in accordance with delivery forecasts.

Supporting the Project Team throughout the project lifecycle by providing timely data analysis to support management information and decision-making.

**Qualifications**:
A recognised qualification in Project Planning & Management, Engineering Project Management and Construction Management, or equivalent experience of project estimation, planning & scheduling in the naval, commercial or leisure craft industry.

It would be desirable to hold a recognised qualification from the Associate for Project Management, either Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) or Project Management Qualification (PMQ).

**Essential Skills**:
Experienced in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.

Experience of cost estimating, cost & data analysis, cost assurance and work activity planning & scheduling.

The drive to work in a collaborative environment with a natural curiosity and continuous improvement approach, challenging yourself and others to find new solutions.

**Desired Skills**:
Experience of working in small to medium multi-profession teams operating at the cutting edge of technology.

A positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to remain adaptable and flexible as demands of the role change.

A self-starter and independent thinker who can remain calm and resilient when working under pressure.
