Overview:
To undertake an asbestos removal auditing service which enables management and employees to assess company performance, identify trends, enforce company-wide changes and maintain Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.

Main Duties:

- Take ownership of all auditing processes for asbestos site audits across our Exeter, Bristol and Southampton regions.
- Provide audit reports and recommendations for improvements in a timely manner and in accordance with the Audit Policy via our Assure360 management system. Meeting auditing frequency targets defined within the policy.
- To work closely with Technical Director and Compliance Manager to ensure company Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to on all sites.
- Raise levels of awareness and understanding of safety and quality through on-the
- job coaching, and the proactive provision of advice, guidance and support.
- Maintain the site audit non-conformance register on Assure360, demonstrating audit findings are being actioned and completed.
- Undertake TNAs on all members of the workforce and assist with bespoke training solutions based on these assessments.
- Attend “Safety Always” Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality meetings as required. Communicating audit summaries to Directors and Operatives alike.

Preferred qualifications and experience:
Either BOHS P403 & P404 qualifications, with at least 2 years’ experience as a UKAS accredited Analyst/Surveyor; or SSSTS and recognised qualifications in asbestos removal with over 2 years’ experience as an Asbestos Removal Supervisor.

Knowledge of Hazardous Waste Regulations would be an advantage.

Other qualities and requirements:
We require a trustworthy, professional and open person with excellent communication and organisational skills. They should be able to motivate key individuals, regardless of role or position, enabling the creation of a positive safety culture.

Flexibility is also a requirement as the Auditor may be asked to contribute to other areas of the business.

Must be prepared to travel extensively and work in different environments and to tight deadlines.

It is important that the Auditor is thorough and accurate in the quality of their work. Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a good eye for detail.

Computer literate - Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Training on Assure360 will be provided.

Willing to develop further in line with Company expectations and to undergo training courses as required.

Schedule:

- Normally Monday to Friday (some weekend work may be required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Work Location:
Dependent upon home location but ideally based out of our Exeter Office. Role requires site visits and possible overnight stays to efficiently cover site requirements.

Pay: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
