**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To be aware of and undertake necessary maintenance of LTCG buildings internally and externally and to report any matters which need attention to the Manager.
- To be responsible for the safe operation of any equipment used by yourself as directed by your manager including the use of Personal Protective equipment.
- To be responsible for keeping records of:
Vehicle maintenance and Servicing Schedules.

Good ability to work on own initiative (Imperative)

Weekly Fire System Tests

Health & Safety matters
- Emergency domestic duties.
- To keep the grounds of LTCG in good order as directed by your manager.
- Be aware of the appearance of the building and grounds and report to the manager any areas that need addressing.
- To perform such other duties as may be reasonably required within the grounds of the home and to travel to such other places of work as may from time to time be instructed by the management.
- General Gardening and landscaping which will include, hedge cutting, light tree surgery, grass, weeding, pruning, planting.
- Decorating, household repairs.

**Job Title: Maintenance Officer**

**Responsible To: Proprietor / Manager**

**Job Purpose**:To ensure the comfort and safety of the service users, staff and visitors to LTCG by regular maintenance of the grounds and the building, having the highest regard for health and safety, as directed by the Manager.**
