**The role**

We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our front of house team, you will take the lead in ensuring our customers receive fantastic drinks and fantastic service each and every time. The role encompasses the following main responsibilities:

- Preparing consistently high quality coffee, tea and cold drinks (including a simple cocktail menu)
- Ensuring the counter area is kept clean and free of clutter and our hygiene protocols are followed
- Taking the lead in daily maintenance and cleaning routines for coffee equipment
- Following daily opening and closing checklists for the restaurant area of the hotel

**Who we’re looking for**

We need an industrious, engaging coffee fanatic with a calm, organised approach who is passionate about great food and drink, and about delivering fantastic service. Ideally we are looking for someone who has the following attributes:

- At least one years’ barista experience in a well-respected coffee house / café / casual dining operation
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure our high standards are maintained
- Strong knowledge of speciality coffee drinks and ideally some experience with wine and cocktails (although not essential)
- A fluent English speaker
- Brilliant at interacting with the public and delivering exceptional service levels
