Opportunity to join a small, local and friendly workforce at Hadspen Quarry, Castle Cary. Hadspen Quarry is the only Cary Stone quarry in the UK, producing both Cary Stone and Blue Lias for building stone, walling stone, masonry and architectural stone, and has supplied stone to projects both large and small across the country. The position will be as general quarry labourer and entails operating various tools within a working quarry environment, dressing and packing stone. Full training and PPE will be provided, no direct experience necessary although safety conscientious is a must. Your own transport is required due to the quarry location. In return we can offer competitive rates of pay and holiday, immediate start available. Permanent role for the right person.
