Learning Support Administrator

**Job title**: Learning Support Administrator - co-educational public day school
**Location**: Reading
**Contract type**: Temporary - 2 - month assignment
**Starting on**: Immediate start available
**Rate of pay**: £14 per hour
**Hours of work**:8:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday (The school is closed for 2 weeks over Christmas period)
**The role**:
You will provide administrative support to the Head of Learning Support and Learning Support team as well as working within the broader School administration team. Your responsibilities will be spread across the administration for assessments, registrations, and files for students relative to the Learning Support function, collation of information relative to evidence collection, coordinating paperwork and running reports in support of the Learning Support function.

**Key information**:
- Immediate Start
- Approximately 2 Month Temporary assignment
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Updating student records
- Setting up new pupils for test
- Keeping digital register up to date
- Liaising with students' previous schools where relevant
- Storing pupil information on intranet area
- Rollover of year group data for departmental cohort folders
- Keeping box files up to date and sorting and scanning historical box-file paperwork
- Updating data graphs analysing performance patterns
- Creating excel charts for comparisons
- Creating and updating google forms for evidence collection
- Booking rooms for Elevate seminars
- General filing
**Skills required**:
- Previous admin experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage a busy workload
- Well-organised, thorough, and persistent
- Able to identify and work to deadlines
- An excellent command of the English language - both written and oral
- Confident user of IT, including Microsoft Office programmes and mail merge, excel
- Have a confident, warm, and welcoming manner both in person and on the telephone
