**Position**: Caretaker (Ad Hoc)

**Role Overview**: As a Caretaker, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the school premises, ensuring a safe and clean environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will have the opportunity to work on an ad hoc basis, choosing the shifts that best suit your schedule.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to school buildings and facilities.
- Ensure the school grounds are well-maintained, including outdoor areas.
- Assist with security measures and ensure the safety of the school.
- Occasional split shifts may be required, starting at 7am and later at 3pm.
- Use your skills in building or facilities management to contribute to the overall smooth operation of the school.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Experience in building or facilities management is highly desirable.
- Ideally, you should have your own transport for flexibility.
- Must be able to work on an ad-hoc basis and pick up shifts as needed.
- Subject to vetting checks in line with KCSIE guidelines.
- A valid DBS registered to the update service.
- Satisfactory references checks.
