Intuitive Thinking Skills Ltd are a leading provider of peer-led, attitude change programmes aimed at securing positive outcomes for people engaged through the UK's statutory sectors, such as Drug and Alcohol, Criminal Justice, Welfare to Work and Young Persons alternative education.

We are looking to recruit another addition to our team who would be an energetic, enthusiastic Life Skills Mentor to work across the Somerset County - As a Young Persons Mentor you will be responsible for developing a person centred learning and development plan with each Young Person you engage with, playing a key role in positively encouraging them to participate in sessions that help with developing their skills, abilities and qualities.

The sessions you deliver could vary from helping with with their confidence, anxiety, self-esteem, motivation, or negative behaviour as well as looking to engage them in other partners activities such as outdoor pursuits, horticulture, agriculture or arts & crafts. You will skill young people in being able to move forward more confidently, whilst encouraging them to think and plan independently about their future.

We work with young people who need to get back into a routine, require support transitioning into new environments and those who need to prepare for college, apprenticeships or employment.

The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a multi-agency environment and understand the importance of partnership working, whilst being able to work independently and creatively.

**The role covers Somerset County and being able to drive would be essential to the role**.

**Salary**: £22,000.00 - £25,000.00 per year plus fully funded company car,
