**PCB Assembler / Soldering**

**Working hours**: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

**Salary**: £31,200 DOE

£11 to £15 per hour depending on experience

Do you have experience in PCB assembly and soldering of SMD Components?

We are looking for an experienced Assembly operative for printed circuit board assembly and inspection.
- manually populate and solder printed circuit boards. Both surface mount and through hole components. Skills to solder fine pitch SMD components under microscope an advantage. Preferably certified to IPC 610 class 3.
- Wiring cable looms and harnesses. Cable assembly with crimp connectors and soldered connectors. Preferably certified to IPC 620.
- Box-build/final assembly consisting of printed circuit boards, cables, cases, displays and connectors. Electromechanical assembly a plus. Preferably certified to IPC 630.
- Experience in visual inspection of assembly and solder joints. Preferably to IPC 6xx standards.
- General understanding of electronics components (polarisation and assembly requirements)
- testing of electronics products with automated or pre-set test jigs/environments.
- Able to read assembly drawings and instructions.
- Computer literate, user level of Windows systems.
- An eye for details and able to follow instructions to complete assemblies to high quality standard.
- Record and document information related to the assembly and quality requirements.
- Organised and tidy.
- Awareness of ESD requirements and workplace systems like 5S, Visual workplace and ISO 9000 standard.

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
