Powder Coater

RMS are currently recruiting for a great opportunity for a Powder Coater to join a well-established and growing Sheet Metal Fabrication Company.

Initially you will work on the dayshift to undertake a period of training, following which you will move onto a 3-shift rotation (Early, Late and Night Shift)
- 1 years’ experience of working on ideally a powder coat or wet paint plant.
- Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is desirable but not essential.
- The ability to work unsupervised is required.

**Duties will include**:

- Selecting paint from stock and preparing both the spray booth and powder coating guns for each new job
- Performing frequent change overs of colour
- Spraying parts of various size and ensuring paint thickness and gloss levels are correct on finished product.

On occasions they may be required to jig up parts ready to paint, masking parts from drawing detail, packing finished parts and general housekeeping duties as and when required.

This is a **permanent position,** and the salary is £10.38 per hour while training on day shift and then increases to £12.98 per hour on shift rotations.
