MBA are proud to be recruiting for a global market leading claims management and loss adjusting company. Due to growth and demand we are seeking an experienced Senior Liability Adjuster to be able to cover the East Midlands

What you’ll be doing: You’ll be working in a pivotal role proactively handling and settling a technically complex caseload of third-party Liability claims, typically of high value. Your portfolio of work will consist of a mixture of more complex employers' liability, public liability and property liability, mainly on a cradle to grave basis.

You’ll need to be skilled and tenacious, ensuing you get to the root cause of issues, take responsibility to resolve and problems and collate all necessary details to ensure swift settlement whenever possible.
- Proven ability to handle and extensive and technically complex range of EL / PL and Property liability claims including claims involving third party property damage.
- Extensive experience of writing investigation reports
- Extensive knowledge of the insurance market
- Extensive technical knowledge within the adjusting arena
- Proven proficient working knowledge of scoping software and hand-held device use.
- Good negotiation skills - for arranging appointments when required, alternative accommodation and explaining information when there is pushback on settlement
- To understand what matter to the customer and to put this first - putting yourself in their shoes
- Good IT skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Flexibility in travelling
- Full UK driving licence
