We are an independent team of Fire Safety and Health & Safety Consultants based in the heart of the West Midlands. Working with clients of all shapes and size across England and Wales.

We're looking to add an additional Fire Door Inspector to our team as a result of continuous growth within the organisation.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Conducting visual, non-intrusive, fire door inspections to ensure they meet compliance across a large portfolio.
- Delivering accurate reports and recommendations to the end client.
- Work will be split between working in the office and out on site.
- Travelling to various sites to conduct routine inspections of communal and flat entrance doors, documenting and reporting findings on a live reporting system.
- Delivering a high level of service to our customers.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A full clean UK driving licence.
- Experience of carrying out Fire Door Inspections (**desired but not mandatory** as training can be provided)
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the principles of Fire Safety.

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a good telephone manner.
- Able to present themselves commensurate with their audience.
- **Must** be IT literate with a good understanding of the Microsoft office suite, outlook.
- Ability to work as a team or independently to achieve the desired goals.
- Have an ability to read, understand and interpret complex legislative documents and guidance documents such as British Standards etc.
- This is a full-time role which involves UK travel with some overnight stops. Therefore, flexibility is an important factor.

**Salary**: Base salary of £23,000 to £30,000 p.a. depending on experience

**Hours of work**:08:30 - 16.30 Monday-Friday, although some additional hours may be required during busy times.

**Holidays**: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, raising to 25 days plus bank holidays dependant on time served.

**Location: Hartlebury, Worcestershire. **Based in a friendlyand relaxed entrepreneurial office atmosphere located on a trading estate in Pershore. Free parking is available.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
