**Your role**
- To work in a manner that promotes the health and safety of oneself and others.
- Report any health and safety issues to your section leader.
- Ensures Quality and production standards are maintained in the production environment.
- You may be asked to work in any area of the business as and when demand requires it.
- Flexibility to work outside core hours to meet orders and demand of the business.
- To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within your area and across the wider business, e.g. reduction of waste, recycling, etc.
- Responsibility to ensure that line speeds and performances are achieved, with the aim of maximising line efficiency.
- Recommend any improvements to work methods which could improve the productivity, performance, safety of the operation.
- To communicate regularly and effectively with your Operations Team Lead/ Business Unit Leader in order that they are fully aware on all aspects of production, quality, customer order plans.
- Liaise with the incoming/outgoing shift changeover to establish any problems with machinery, plans, quality, etc.
- Effective organisation of the labour allocated to your line.
- Responsible for managing the timings of breaks to ensure minimum downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Ensure operatives are trained to line requirements.
- Liaise with all departments to ensure effective production of the products
To undertake any other reasonable and relevant duties as required by Management.
- Ensure that hourly KPI boards are filled on time.
- To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.

**What you’ll need**

**Technical**
- Basic understanding of Production and Customer Specification
- Awareness of the food manufacturing industry

**Skills**
- A good level of the English Language
