**HSM Aero are recruiting for a CNC Turner. Apprentices will be considered on a reduced salary.**

HSM Aero Ltd is part of the SA Group of companies, comprising precision component engineering, sheet metal work and fabrication, aircraft cabin refurbishment, supplier of aviation spares, and distributor of SATTO® cabin interior repair systems to the aerospace industries.

Responsibilities of the CNC Turner include, but are not limited to
- Set and operate Haas (Fanuc style) SL10 and ST20T SSY lathes
- Adjust wear values to maintain in tolerance components.
- Understanding of when inserts require changing
- Experience of using bar feeders
- Experience in machining a wide variety of materials: aluminium, various stainless steels, exotics, mild steels and plastics.
- Be able to check own work using micrometers, verniers, gauging etc.
- Good attention to detail
- Capable of fine limit tasks and working to the required high quality standard
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Keep working environment clean and tidy using 5S and Lean methodology
- Working to tight deadlines when required
- 39 hour week over 4 days (Mon-Thurs).

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£33,500.00 per year
