**Job description**

Due to rapid expansion, we are looking for further tutors to join our team. This is a self-employed Spanish tutor role. The ability to teach French is an advantage, but not essential. We would particularly be interested in hearing from people who are able to teach after school classes on at least some days each week.

The hours of work are varied and tend to be term time only.

Sessions in Nurseries, Pre-Schools and Childminders

School breakfast or lunchtime clubs

After school clubs in schools

Curriculum/PPA lessons in schools

The rates of pay vary and depend on the length of the class but are a minimum of £25 an hour. No lesson planning required.
- Do you have a high level of Spanish and English? English must also be of a very high standard to be able to give instructions.
- Do you have use of a PC and printer?
- Can you drive and do you have use of a car? Can you travel throughout the post code areas stated?
- Do you have the right to live and work in the UK?
- Will you pass a DBS check?

Training is provided in the Kidslingo methodology and some online training is also required. All lesson plans are provided for you to follow, but you would need to do some preparation such as printing out worksheets, preparing flashcards etc.

As a self-employed position it is relied upon that you have the skills to teach Spanish and that you possess the following:

- Motivation and ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Common sense and reliability
- Enthusiasm and confidence
- Ability to engage with children and provide good customer service to adults
- Time management and planning / prioritising abilities
- Sufficient IT skills to be able to upload / download documents, prepare invoices, prepare lessons

You may be asked to support the aims and growth of the business with other ad hoc activities such as social media input, attending a summer fete, delivering a taster session etc.
