Flavourist

Our well-established client based in Lincoln, are looking for an experienced Flavourist to join their team on a permanent basis. They are a family run business and one of the UK’s biggest manufacturers and distributors of E-Liquids. This is an exciting opportunity as they are expanding quickly and have lots of other growth plans.

The role supports flavour sales growth, flavour creation, flavour production and flavour library by working efficiently to support briefs while maintaining a vision of what will work best for customers.

**Working**: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

**Salary: Dependent on experience**

**Responsibilities**:

- Create new and innovative flavour profiles.
- Research and Development of new concentrates and e-liquid flavours,
- Monitor stock levels of lab and manufacturing ingredients and raise purchase orders to replenish stock.
- Responsible for the research and development of new concentrates and e-liquid flavours for brands.
- Ability to formulate flavours that meet all regulatory guidelines and restrictions.
- Be a team player, able to work individually, also as part of the wider team.
- Acquire a good understanding of the markets in which our client operates and be able to interact at a high level of professionalism with customers.
- Establish professional relationships and be a good communicator with commercial teams.

**Skills and experience**:

- 3+ years of active flavour work
- Good math skills for problem-solving calculations.
- Strong trouble-shooting skills
- Strong and discerning sense of smell and taste
- Experience working in a Flavourist/Flavour Chemist position is essential.
- Specialized knowledge in flavours for e-liquids is preferred.
- Knowledge of fundamental flavour chemistry and sensory perception, to aid with new product developments or product improvements.
- Demonstrate passion for flavour creations.
- Demonstrates strong ability for problem-solving and complaint resolution.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to change.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £50,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
