CSP are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Administrator on behalf of our client, a well-known & established leader in the logistics & distribution sectors. The contract will be on a temp-to-perm basis and have an immediate start available

Other benefits include free car parking, onsite gym and a canteen providing reasonably priced hot and cold food (as well as microwaves/fridges).

Working hours are:

- Days: 4 on 4 off pattern working between the hours of 6am-6pm and our client is offering a salary of £24,400

**Key Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the success of the site by ensuring that all transport records match and coordinate
- Answer telephone calls and schedule appointments
- Inbox management
- Undertake administrative and filling duties to meet the needs of the Transport Manager
- Ensure all paperwork is returned for all customer deliveries despatched from site and chase outstanding proofs of delivery (PODs)
- Liaising with staff at other depots and external contacts
- Photocopying, printing, organising, and storing documents and computer-based information.

**Required Skills**:

- Previous administration experience gained within a warehouse, transport or logistics environment.
- Flexibility within the role to be able to cover other areas of the team.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Able to manage their own time to achieve daily targets.
- Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent data entry speed and accuracy, with ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Have excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills.
- Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year.
