Our client are a small sized training firm who are looking for mentors to join the growing team. This role is a term time position only.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, adaptable and relational Learning and Behaviour mentors to provide 1-1 and 1-2 mentoring to learners aged 11-19 with a range of complex needs.
Key points to the role:
All staff must agree to the following:
- Staff are responsible for ensuring the learner is picked up and dropped off at their home at the allotted time.
- Staff are responsible for ensuring their learners behave, are challenged when they behave inappropriately and are responsible for ensuring their learners clean up after themselves where ever they are.
- Staff must inform management of any issues that arise with the young people and follow procedures.
You will be involved in the mentoring of children, you will pick the children up from home bring them to the training centre and plan activities for them to do.
The hours of work are 9am to 2pm (however you need to be available between 8.30 and 3), the role is temporary initially and can lead to long term to work down the line.
After a 6 months’ probation the pay rate will be £20,800 a year pro rata 39 +5 day
Pay is £13 per hour
