Here at GXO we are looking for a **Lead** **Warehouse Function Operative** to join the Inventory team at our EE/BT contract in Milton Keynes. You will be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 13:00 - 21:00; however, a degree of flexibility may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the business.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer an hourly rate of £13.57 + 10% shift allowance. In addition, we offer 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Support the Inventory Team Leader with the management of the warehouse Perpetual Inventory counts according to planned schedules and work instructions. Inventory counts will be conducted at ground level and at height.
- Full training will be provided to safely operate a high-level order picker for this purpose.
- Manage a small, dedicated team to complete targeted investigations as issued by Team Leader
- Reporting all unresolved discrepancies
- Ensuring daily tasks for self and direct reports are carried out effectively and within given timescales

**What you need to succeed in GXO**:

- Ability to engage, support and develop a small team,
- Experience of KPI management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great attention to detail with an ability to effectively interpret large datasets
- Previous Inventory or stock control experience including PI management and investigative processes,
- Ability to effectively manage day-to-day issues with mínimal supervision
