As a book keeper and administrative assistant you will play a key part in supporting the team. You will work closely with the managers to ensure the business runs smoothly.

For this role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Preparing packs for the tutors to deliver their courses
- Speaking to customers and ensuring that the information is passed to the correct person
- Updating the businesses online portal with relevant documentation and updating as required
- Ensuring the training rooms and office are organised
- Managing stock levels and placing orders for office supplies as required
- Creating reports from accountancy systems
- Book keeping and invoicing
- Miscellaneous office support tasks

**We are looking for is someone who is**:

- A team player
- Keen to learn and develop a role within general administration duties
- Confident and has good communication skills to speak to people at all levels
- Has an excellent attention to detail
- Extremely motivated with a resilient and positive 'can do' attitude
- Confident with their IT skills including Microsoft packages or the ability to learn at pace
- Competent with online accountancy packages such as Kashflow, Xero etc
- Can offer support to their colleagues where needed without being asked
- Has the ability to time manage their tasks

**Skills required**:

- Must have GCSE’s in English and Maths
- Communication skills to answer the phone and take accurate messages that can be passed onto the relevant person
- The ambition to develop a career in a growing local company where you can fully become responsible for your own area of work
- Be able to look for opportunities to support the business moving forward and be keen in doing this, developing your skills and the progress of Purple Dog.

Part-time hours: 22 per week

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
