Knights Lodge Properties Ltd is a new build property developer based in Westbrook, Margate looking to recruit an experienced Finance Officer.
- Preparation of the VAT returns to HMRC
- Preparation of the CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) to HMRC
- Process all aspects of both sales and purchase invoices
- Chase overdue invoices
- Issue and manage inter-company invoicing
- Issue service charge invoices with receipts to customers and chase payments when necessary.
- Bank reconciliation on Xero against invoices and statements
- Ensure budget records are maintained and accurate
- Manage project expenditure vs budgets and report to management
- Reconcile petty cash and card payments on a daily basis.
- Manage spend expenses on company debit card
- Open, monitor and maintain supplier accounts with agreed Terms including monthly reconciliations
- Raise and issue purchase orders
- Assist in cost effective procurement of goods

Xero and EQUE2 Construction Management are used for the accounting and budgeting, which will be your daily workbase systems.

**Skills Required**:

- Competent user of Google suite/Microsoft Office and Xero preferable
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload
- Ability to work well in a team as well as using own initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Experience**:

- Accounting : 2 years (required)
- Bookkeeping: 2 year (required)
