Veterinary Surgeon

*Full Time Veterinary Surgeon*

Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a practice who are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon on a full-time basis 40 hours per week.

This practice is located in Straiton, which is under 30 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre, the Coast and Edinburgh Airport. If you love the outdoors, the practice to the Pentland Hills Regional Park, which is great for exploring on your days off.

The successful applicant will join a busy & friendly team of 3 Vets, 3 RVN’s, 1 SVN, 3 Client Care Advisers and a very supportive Practice Manager. Their bright and spacious surgery has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, separate kennels, and isolation wards.

To be a good fit for this role, you must have a solid grounding in first opinion medicine and surgery and want to work in a fun, yet busy clinical environment. They are looking for a vet who is comfortable working sole charge when necessary. You will need to be available to work between the hours of 8:30am and 8pm Monday to Friday, with a rotational weekend of Saturday 8.30am-6pm and Sunday 9.30am-6pm. There is no OOH with this role.
