Compliance Officer

**The role**

We’re looking for an exceptional **Compliance Officer **who wants to make a difference and thrives in a challenging environment. If you have a proven track record of manually processing large volumes of compliance certification, and taking responsibility for quality compliance data, look no further Join Southern Housing as a** Compliance Officer.**

In this exciting new role, you’ll provide support to the Water Hygiene Compliance Manager. This support will include organising Risk Assessments and remedial works, managing contractor invoicing, administrative support, organising access, resident enquiries, and ensuring accurate data is held within our database systems.

You’ll assist in the project management and delivery of compliance programmes with a heavy focus on water hygiene.

You’ll support across the department to ensure efficient and effective administrative practices and resolve administrative and other queries related to the tasks at hand.

**What you'll have**
- You’ll have a proven track record of providing data entry and customer service, preferably in a Housing Association, or Local Authority environment.
- You’ll have a clear understanding of compliance areas and requirements on housing organisations.
- You’ll have proven experience of performance-based management through KPI’s in a customer focused environment.
- You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with tenants, external agencies, and tenants’ associations, both verbally and in writing.
- The role will work with a range of residents and colleagues, so a positive approach to collaborative team working is essential. You’ll need to live our one team culture.
