**WB Employment** are recruiting for the UK's leading independent baker of award winning traybakes and cakes. They are looking for a **Quality Inspector** to join their growing Bristol based team.

Specialising in the coffee shop sector, they have and continue to rapidly expand. Driven by a passion for hand baking the highest quality and best tasting traybakes and cakes on the market, we are looking for a detail orientated and collaborative individual to become an integral part of our welcoming team. Ensuring that each of our hand-crafted bakes are created with the same quality level and taste.
- **Shifts: 7:00 - 15:00 Monday - Friday**
- **Pay: Salary £26,000**

**Day to day you will be**:

- Inspecting start up sheets, ensuring knife registers have been completed correctly and containers are clean.
- Completing audits on metal detector records to ensure that they are being used correctly and by team members with the correct level of training.
- Carrying out quality assessments on products and processes, ensuring any deviations from specification or QAS are highlighted and resolved.
- Completing spot checks throughout the production line process to demonstrate adherence to specification and tolerances.
- Monitoring paperwork completing during production to ensure it remains in line with our compliance standards.
- Reviewing and monitoring traceability within the bakery.
- Collating and managing samples for internal and external analysis, as required.
- Completing weight checks on products from the production line.
- Monitoring clean downs and ensuring line clearances are completed between production in the bakery.
- Reporting any abnormalities found from review of traceability labels including W.I.P to the relevant member of Management.
- Completing routine audits for example; glass, foreign bodies and internal audits.

**Essential Qualities**:

- A knowledge of food processing
- Experience in food manufacturing
- The ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

**Desirable Qualities**:

- Specific experience within food production quality
